The death has occurred of
Michael Waugh
WAUGH (“Glenwood”, Curragh, Skibbereen and formerly of Bandon): On November 6th 2024 peacefully in the presence of his family at Skibbereen Community Hospital. MICHAEL beloved husband of the late Noeleen (nee Collins), much loved father of Colette, Katherine, Declan, Aileen, Elizabeth, Colin and Kevin, Deeply missed by his loving family, adored grandchildren Lucien, Muiríos, Finn, Connor, Eve, Alice, Úna, Róisín, Cormac and Caelan, brother David, sister-in-law Chris, brother-in-law Fr. Teddy Collins, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his residence, “Glenwood”, Skibbereen (Eircode P81 C673) on Friday, November 8th 2024, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, November 9th 2024, in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen at 12.30pm. This will be livestreamed here. Burial afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
The Waugh family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Skibbereen Community Hospital and all those involved with Michael’s care over recent years.
