Michael WHELAN

WHELAN, Michael, late of Ballinteer and formerly of Carlow and Trim, and the Air Corps, Baldonnel, passed away peacefully on the 11th of February 2026, in the care of the staff at St. James’ Hospital. Beloved father of Carmel, Maria, Paula, Alan, Lisa, Michelle and the Late Brian. He will be sadly missed by his children, brother Colin, sister Eileen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, all extended family and circle of friends.

Michael will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 V046, on Monday (February 16th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (February 17th) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, D16 VK27, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by a 12.15pm Cremation Service in the Victorian Chapel, Mt.
