Michael Whelan

The death has occurred of Michael Whelan, Drumgunny, Aughavas, Co. Leitrim, Thursday, the 2nd November 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

 

Remembered with love by his family, his wife; Mossie, children; Tomás, Michéal, Mairéad, Cathal, Helen, Elizabeth and Turlough. His daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his seventeen grandchildren, his neighbours, relatives and friends.

Michael will repose at his home in Drumgunny Aughavas (Eircode H12 PD63) on Saturday 4th of November 2023 from 12.00pm – 6.00pm and on Sunday (5th November 2023) from 12.30pm – 4.00pm.

 

Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Aughavas on Sunday evening to arrive at 7.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11.00am followed by burial to Aughavas Cemetery.
