Returned to God on 14th September 2023, on the glorious feast of the ‘Exaltation of the Cross’, aged 75 years, following a brief illness.

 

Liam is predeceased by his beloved parents Sonny and Isabel, dearest sisters Bridie and Maureen.

 

Liam is survived by his dear wife Mary, devoted sons Fr. Oisin Emmanuel CFR and Tomas, daughters Aoife and Sive, son-in-law Yoichiro and grandchildren Sho, Reika and Kei, loving brothers Tommy and Eugene, sisters-in-law Mary and Joan, brother-in-law Hugo, extended family, relatives and friends.


Rest in peace.

 

Reposing at his home where you are welcome to pay your respects on Sunday afternoon (17th Sept.) from 2pm to 6pm. Removal on Monday morning (18th Sept.) to St. Finian’s Church, River Valley (K67 KC67) for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in Rolestown (New) Graveyard.

 

Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis Hospice https://www.sfh.ie/ who provided exceptional palliative care to Liam in the comfort of his home, the Irish Cancer Society https://www.cancer.ie/ who provided a night nurse in the final week of Liam’s life and Mary’s Meals, https://www.marysmeals.ie Liam’s favourite charity.
