Michael Wilson, Lawn Park, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cross, Binghamstown, Belmullet peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar surrounded by his loving family on 16th March 2026.

Predeceased by his wife Mary (née Dunleavy), parents Michael and Ellen, sister Kate, brothers Anthony, Josie and James.

Beloved father of Michael and cherished grandfather to his adored grandsons Padraig and Emmet. He will be sadly missed by his family, brother Willie, sisters Ellen and Mary, brothers in law Walter and Tom, sisters in law Pamela, Mary and Bridget, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Michael’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Friday afternoon at 12.30 followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
