Micheal B. Cremin

Farranree, Cork / Ballyvolane, Cork

Cremin, Michael B, of North Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Quincy Mass, Farranree and Ballyvolane, Cork, Ireland, passed peacefully in the care of his wife & family on September 5th 2023. Mike was born in Cork City on April 19th 1956 and was the son of the late Patrick and Evelyn (Melly) Cremin. A painter by trade, Mike spent his free time coaching his sons' sports teams. He organized dozens of fundraisers, created Celtic United (a soccer club where all costs were covered by local sponsors) and helped many other Irish emigrants set up in the States. In his later years, he enjoyed his life in Florida. His life revolved around his family, community and selflessness. He was a legend among men!


Mike was the loving husband of Gina (Hamilton) and the late Bernadette (Hegarty). Devoted Dad to his 3 sons, Michael, Paul & fiancée Morgan & Stephen & wife Julie Cremin. Loving brother to Julie, Maur, Celine, Ray and Christopher & the late Patrick, John, Evan & Jim Cremin. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Mary & brothers-in-law Don, Paddy & Julian.


Mike will be very sadly missed by his beloved extended family, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, many friends & their dog Quinn. A celebration of life memorial will be held on September 7th 2023 at 3pm at the Hope Care center Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway, Cape Coral, Florida 33909. A celebration of life mass will be held on October 14th 2023 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, Quincy Ma 02171 A celebration of life mass will be held in Mike's native Cork at a later date.
