The death has occurred of
Micheál Bird
Bird, Micheál (Philipsburgh Avenue, Fairview, formerly Castlerickard, Longwood, Co. Meath) – January 27, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of his family and the staff at Bloomfield Hospital, Rathfarnham; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Bernie Spellman, sons Kevin and Oisín, extended family, kind neighbours and his many friends especially those in his Fairview Community.
Reposing at his home on Sunday afternoon (Feb 2) from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Monday (Feb 3) in Church of the Visitation, Fairview at 10 o’clock. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium.
Bernie, Kevin and Oisín would like to extend their gratitude to Bloomfield Hospital for their kindness in their care of Micheál during his illness and to the Palliative Care Team at Our Lady’s Hospice during his final days.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Huntingtons’s Disease Association of Ireland and Bloomfield Hospital.
