The death has occurred of Micheal (Brendan) Cooper, formerly of Upper Tennis, Valentia Island and The Bronx, New York. Died peacefully in the palliative care unit of Montefiore Hospital, New York. Sadly missed by his sister Derarca, brother in law John, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Requiem mass for Micheal (Brendan) will take place Monday, 6th of March, at 11am in the Church of Saint Derarca and Saint Teresa, Chapeltown, Valentia, followed by burial in Cill Mhór Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Valentia Community Hospital. Mass will be live streamed on www.churchservices.tv/valentia
