Micheál died on September 24th 2025, peacefully with his family, after a short illness, in the loving care of the staff of the Brosna Ward at Tullamore Regional Hospital. He was in his 90th year and was predeceased by his beloved parents Michael and Mary, brothers Johnnie and Eddie and sister-in-law Gretta.

Micheál will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving sister May, nephews and nieces, Ann Marie (Tierney), Joe, Sean, James, Edel (Waldron) and Paula (Munslow), grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Micheál will repose at the family Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Thursday (Sept. 25th) from 5pm to 7pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church Grounds)

Micheál's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday (Sept. 26th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane, at 11am and may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie, and will be laid to rest afterwards in Clonmacnois.
