Michéal Leavy

The death has occurred of Michéal Leavy, Rockview, Delvin, Co. Westmeath on the 2nd April 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness at St. Camillus Nursing Home, Killucan. Pre-deceased by his baby son Enda, sister Anita, parents Laurence and Therese, and sister-in-law Marie. Loving husband of Philomena (Phil) (nee McDonnell), precious dad of Fiona and Ciara, very special grandfather to Laura, Alex, Shane, Kristian, Natasha, Tatjana, Joshua, Isaac and Ryan, and dear great grandfather to Elle, Eden, Lorcán and Jesse. Much loved by his sons-in-law Oliver and Padraig, grandson-in-law William, brothers Sean, Jim and Lorcán, sister Maureen, uncle Bill, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a great many friends.

 

May Micháel's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N91VF51) this Friday evening from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Micháel's Funeral Mass takes place on Saturday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The family want to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar and St. Camillus Nursing Center, Killucan for their care of Micháel while in their care.
