Micheál (Michael) O’Toole

It is with deep sadness that Micheál’s wife Noreen (née Whelan) and their children Philip, Morgan and Martha share the news of his death on Wednesday evening, 14 May 2025.

He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered always by all his family in particular by his daughters-in-law Dana and Shannon, by four adorable grandchildren who he loved immensely Fiona and Declan and Tadhg and Eve, by his brothers Seán and Padraig, sisters Freda and Evelyn, the extended Whelan and O’Toole family, great neighbours and friends.

 

Miss me but let me go,

When the music stops for me,

I want no tears in a music-filled room,

Why cry for a soul set free!

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Micheál at the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett at 11 a.m. Live streaming link for Mass: https://www.mcn.live/camera/st-oliver-plunkett-renmore-galway Following Mass, he will be brought to Shannon Crematorium for a private Committal Service.

No flowers please. Memorial Donations if preferred to the Irish Kidney Association.
