Míchéal Smyth

Míchéal Smyth, Ballyhaunis, Nuns Island, Galway and Sligo. Míchéal died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Sonas Nursing Home, Knock on July 19, 2024. Predeceased by his parents William and Kathleen Smyth, Clare St, Ballyhaunis. He is sadly missed by his children Tony, Michelle, Andrew and their mother Mary Smyth. His daughters-in-law Chesire, Paula and his son-in-law Matt, his treasured grandchildren Eoghan, Gabrielle, Molly, Holly, Ali and Ben. Deeply regretted by his brothers and sisters-in-law and many dear friends.

Reposing at Donnellans Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis on Sunday evening from 4.30pm until 6pm. Funeral will arrive to St Patrick's Church, Ballyhaunis on Monday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Ballyhaunis parish webcam or listened to on Ballyhaunis parish radio. House private and family flowers only please. Donations to Mayo Hospice.
