Mick Hayes

Mick Hayes, Ceannahowna, Gort, peacefully at home on the 2nd April 2025. Pre-deceased by his father Michael, mother Molly, sister Pauline and her husband Jim, nephews, Leslie & Dermot.

Mick will be sadly missed by his wife, Nora, children, Catherine, Cahal, Martin, Marina & Patrick, son-in-law Harry, daughter-in-law Ida, Martins' partner Theresa, grandchildren Laura, Aoife, Brianna, Aonrai, Daniel & Daire, brothers Jack & Colm, sister Anne, sisters-in-law, Cepta & Kathleen, brother-in-law Matt, nieces, nephews & all extended family & friends.

Mick will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Saturday evening, April 5th from 5.30 pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass Sunday, April 6th at 12 noon in St. Colman's Church, Gort . Mick will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman’s cemetery, Gort.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Galway Hospice Foundation. House private by request.
