The death has occurred of
Mick (Michael) Canavan
(Peacefully) in loving care of his family and in comfort at the Galway Hospice Dearly beloved husband of Maeve and much loved father of Máire, Áine, Christine, Michael, Tony and Maeve; pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Mary Ann and his sisters Sr. Mary Clement, Kathleen Higgins and Sarah; Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, daughters and sons, brothers Canon Robbie Canavan (England), Martin and Frank, sisters Tina and Rita, sons-in-law Rory, Brian and Pádraig, daughter-in-law Éilis, grandchildren Peter, Maeve, Robert, Kate, Cian, Seán, Tom, Caoimhe, Joe and Emily, great-grand daughter Nellie, the extended Canavan and Walsh family and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at 'Áras Naofa' within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on this Wednesday, 27th February from 4.30 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the adjacent Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 28th February at 11 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rinville cemetery, Oranmore. No Flowers by request. Memorial donations (if desired) to the Galway Hospice Foundation.
