The death has occurred of
Mike Hegarty
Mike passed away peacefully on the 27th of December 2025 at the age of 91, after 5 years living with dementia. For the last four of those he had been living at Elysing House Care Home in Enfield, London, in the tender care of the excellent team there.
Mike is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Liz, sons Mick and Martin, daughters-in-law Clare and Joan, grandchildren Sibby, Conrad, Mike, Liam and Ciaran, great-grandchildren Tessa and Lisa, sister Monica Rusk, brother Peter, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass will be at 12 noon on Friday 23rd January, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint George in Enfield, London, followed by Cremation at Enfield Crematorium, with Interment to follow later in St. Tiernan’s Cemetery, Crossmolina.
