The death has occurred of
Mikie Joe O'Regan
O’Regan, Meenagishaugh, Gneeveguilla, Co. Kerry, on Saturday March 21st, peacefully in the care of the staff in the Fuchsia Ward at Killarney Community Hospital, Mikie Joe. Sadly missed by his wife Laura, sons Dermot, Fred, Anthony, Adrian and Michael, Michael’s partner Deirdre, grandchildren Mikie D, James, Kai, sisters Mary and the late Joan, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Given the unprecedented current circumstances due to Covid-19, funeral arrangements are private. To show solidarity, it may be an opportunity for neighbours & friends to line the road from Mikie Joe’s residence to Gullane Cremery in Gneeveguilla. We ask that this gesture comes with two essential requirements. Firstly, please practice social distancing (minimum 2 metres apart) pre and post the hearse passing so at all times no one’s health is comprised. Secondly, it is essential not to congregate in the village or the road to the church. Additionally, a virtual condolence book is also open, if you would like to leave a message for the family. This is located directly under this announcement. A memorial Mass to celebrate Mikie Joe’s life will be offered at a later date.
