MIKIE (MICHAEL) LEE

LEE Mikie (Michael). Clooncerna, Tubber, Co. Clare. Peacefully on the 11th of January, 2026, in the tender care of the staff of University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his devoted and loving family.

Pre - deceased by his parents Tommy & Eileen and by his brothers Jamesie, Joe & Christy, by his sisters Anna and Sr. John, by other family members and some great friends.

Mikie will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Marie, by his loving children Johnny, Damien, Noel, Conor and Michelle, remembered fondly by his daughters-in-law Paula, Trish, Marcella & Mary and by Michelle’s partner Walter, by his cherished grandchildren Jack, Conor, David, Gavin, Sarah, Jessica, Laura, Mikey, Liam, Alan, Sophie, and Cormac. Sadly missed by his brothers Willie and Paschal, sisters Phil, Rita and Geraldine, sisters-in-law Mary, Ciss, Josephine and Mary, brothers-in-law Gerry and Gerry Brohan, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, by the extended Lee and Brohan families, great neighbours and many loyal friends.

Mikie will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Tuesday evening, January 13th, from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to All Saints Church, Boston, Co. Clare for evening prayers (arriving at 7.45pm approx.). Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon. Mikie will be laid to rest afterwards in Kiltackey cemetery, Boston. Family flowers only.
