The death has occurred of Miriam Dowse, Castletown, Athboy, 20th May 2025. Peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Hugh, her parents Michael and Olive, her brother Richard and her Stepfather Paddy Cole. She will be sadly missed by her brother John, sister-in-law Carmel, niece Anne (Ray), nephew Michael (Becky), grand nieces Ella, Darcey and Tilly, extended family and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Mullens Funeral Home, Athboy (C15 KW58) on Thursday evening at 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning leaving Mullens Funeral Home arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am in St. James’ Church, Athboy, followed by burial in St. James’ Cemetery, Athboy.

Family Flowers Only, donations in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society.

Miriam’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and all the staff of Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for the care and attention given to Miriam in the last 4 weeks, also Dr. Ryan and all the staff of Athboy Family Practice who have looked after her medical needs over the past few years.

A special mention to Miriam’s carers from Irish Homecare who looked after her with such love and attention during the last number of years.
