It is with great sadness that the family of Moira Sharkey announce her passing on January 22nd. Passing peacefully in her 99th year in the care of Blackrock Abbey, in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Peter Sharkey and dearly missed by her son Noel and his wife Marian. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Marian, grandsons Peter and his wife Danielle, Jonathan and his wife Julie, Robert and his wife Stacey and Daniel and his partner Maeve, her great-granddaughter Clíona, her niece Mary, grandniece and grandnephew Katie and John and all her relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52, approach from Bridge Street, entrance on Castletown Road) on Thursday, January 23rd, from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Saturday, January 25th to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown (Eircode A91 XH75), arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
