Moira Whelan nee Dowling of The Mill, Ballinoe, Causeway, Co. Kerry, died peacefully on 27th October 2025, beloved wife of the late Pat, cherished mother of Jerry, Paudie & John and dear sister of Patsy (Greene), Gene, Seán and the late Frank, Nicko, Pat Joe and baby John.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her grandchildren Darragh, Pádraig, Maeve, Hannah & Jack, nephews, nieces, daughters-in-law Cathie, Barbara & Karen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Moira will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Wednesday (29th October) from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Causeway (V92 PW88) on Thursday morning where the Requiem Mass for Moira will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (streamed on www.dioceseofkerry.ie/parish/causeway-ballyduff). Interment afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.
