Mollie Kiernan (nee Kelly) No. 3 Owen Roe Tce., Cavan Town and formerly Breffni Park Lane, Cavan Town, Friday. May 5th 2023. peacefully, after a long illness. borne with dignity and courage and in the loving care of her family and the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Susan and Paddy Kelly and her sister Anna. Beloved wife and best friend of Phil and devoted Mother of Ann, Patrick (Packie) and Claudine. Mollie will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her loving husband and family, son in law Gerry, daughter in law Arlene, her adored grandchildren Wayne, Jamie, Paddy and Alex, nephew Paul Kelly, all her family circle and many friends.

Mollie will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan H12C821 on Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Monday morning from the home of her daughter Claudine and husband Gerry, 3 Drumglen, Cavan to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am Via Wolfe Tone St., Following Mass, the cortege will travel to St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry, for committal prayers and burial in the family plot.
