(née Bennett)

Molly Smith (nee Bennett) Lackenduff, Ballyjamesduff and formerly Carrickavee, died, peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of Hughie and devoted Mum to Claire. 

Molly will be sadly missed by Hughie and Claire, her son-in law Paddy, her adored grandchildren Elliot & Alex, her dear sister Nellie Lee, cherished nieces, nephews, the extended Bennett & Smith families including Jim (Cavan), Betty, Kathleen, Rosella, Brendan (USA), great neighbours and many friends.

 

 

 

 

Hughie and Claire would like to thank their wonderful relatives, neighbours and friends for their support over these few difficult weeks. They are very grateful to the staff at Virginia Health Centre and Cavan General Hospital and they will think of them as they work tirelessly during this holiday period.

 

 

Commensurate with the joyful outlook that Molly had on life, Claire and Hughie wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas.

 

 

 

Reposing at Matthews funeral home, Virginia, from 4-6pm Sunday 26th of December. Funeral Mass in St. Matthews Church Crosskeys at 11:30am Monday followed by removal to Lakeland's Crematorium.
