Mona Boylan (née Leggett), Shanahee, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Malahide, Dublin peacefully at the University College Hospital, Galway surrounded by her loving family on 15th August 2025.

Predeceased by her baby infant Angela, parents Patrick and Mary, brothers Frank, Andy, Paddy, Declan and sisters Carmel and Pat.

Beloved wife of Tom and dear mother of Vera, Martin, Michael, Thomas and Lisa. She will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Ian, Aaron, Emily, Kate, Jason, Gary, Marty, Rachel, Rebecca, Molly, Rian, Tom, Nicole, Mark and Amy and great grandchildren Ellie, Noah, Ava, Rosie and Donnacha, sons in law Aidan, Lisa’s partner Kieran, daughters in law Mary and Trish, brother Willie, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Mona’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock with funeral arriving at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Shanahee at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
