MONICA AHERN (née Daly) Barryscourt, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Monica on October 7th 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Pat and loving mother of Ciara, Elaine and John.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, grandchildren Sean, Cian, Ben, Aoife, Katie, Sam, Abbie, Lucy, Zoe, Jack, Patrick, Meg and Conor, daughter-in-law Geraldine, sisters Maureen and Margaret, brothers Diarmuid and John-Joe, extended family and very many friends.
May Monica Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Elaine’s home (‘Fota Grove’, Barryscourt, T45 FH31) on Thursday October 9th from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
Arriving for Requiem Mass on Friday 10th at 2pm in St Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carrigtwohill.
