Monica Baker
(née Dempsey-Murphy)
BAKER (née Dempsey-Murphy) Monica (Glenageary, Co. Dublin, proprietor Decwells Hardware, Sth. Great George’s St., Dublin 2) 10th October 2023. Very peacefully, with her devoted family by her side and in the kind and tender care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock. Dearly beloved wife and best friend of David and loving Mum to Colin, Wesley and Davina. Those lucky enough to have met Monica knew instantly of her warm heart, quiet strength and generous caring nature. She will be deeply missed by her husband, sons and daughter, sisters Marian, Maureen and brother Pat, daughter-in-law Emer, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, many loyal friends and her treasured pets Loxie, Daisy and Jack.
May she rest in peace.
Monica will be reposing at her home on Tuesday, 17th October, from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 18th October, at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule followed by burial in Kilquade Cemetery.
