The death has occurred of Monica Battles (nee McLoughlin) Garrow, Boyle, Co.Roscommon on the 2nd of March 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of the staff of the Plunkett Community Nursing Home, Boyle. Beloved wife of Johnny, mother to John and Sinead. Monica will be forever missed by her daughter-in-law Philippa, son-in-law Andrew and her adored grandchildren, brothers Christopher and Oliver McLoughlin, sisters Kathleen Moran and Nancy Duignan, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Battles family, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence (F52AY61) Friday, the 3rd of March, from 3pm to 7pm with arrival to St Joseph's Church, Boyle for funeral mass at 11am Saturday, the 4th of March. Burial afterwards to Caldra Cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live by logging into www.boyleparish.ie. Please note there will be a one way system in place for the reposing. Traffic will be directed up the old Sligo Curlews Road and will exit via Lowparks, Green Street, Boyle. Should you wish to leave a condolence you may do so using the condolence link below.
