Peacefully, in the care of St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Whelan and the late John Byrne and much-loved mother of Sandra, Niall, Patrick and Richard. Very sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Aisling and Alison, grandchildren Conor, Tanya and her wife Jade, Robbie, Sean, Ciara, Karl and Eoin, great-grandchildren Amayah, Layla and Cian, sisters Imelda and Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Austin and Pat.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum, on Tuesday afternoon (September 7th) between 3pm and 5pm for family and close friends only. Removal on Wednesday morning (September 8th) to the Church of The Holy Cross, Dundrum, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in Cruagh Cemetery.

Those attending the Funeral Mass are requested to enter the church before the funeral cortège arrives.
