On August 20th, 2025, our deeply beloved Mom, Monica Casey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, following a short illness.

 

Her sad passing leaves behind her two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie and her two sons, Peadar and James. Mamó will be dearly missed by her adored grandchildren Matilda and Jonah McGurdy. Deeply mourned by son-in-law Luke McGurdy, daughter-in-law Iva Grill, and her very dear companion, Oscar Grant. Monica will be remembered by her daughters, sons, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in her ancestral home of Tún Lán (P12YN40) on Friday, August 22nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

 

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday August 23rd, at 2:00pm at Saint Gobnait’s Church, Ballyvourney.

Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Ballyvourney.

 

Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu if desired to Marymount Hospice.
