The death has occurred of Monica Joyce (nee Bogle) Clifden, Co. Galway / Roscor Belleek Co. Fermanagh, peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 8th 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff of St Anne’s nursing home, Clifden. Predeceased by her husband Ulick and her baby daughter Mary. Sadly missed by her children Eily, PK, Ulick, Kenneth, Derek, Stephanie, Jennifer and Trevor, her sons and daughters in law and her 10 cherished grandchildren .

As per her wishes Monica had a private service with immediate family at Shannon Crematorium on November 11th 2025.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Carna Nursing Home and St Anne’s Nursing Home for all their amazing care and support over the past few years. Thank you to all of Monica’s friends and all of our friends for their support in respecting Monica’s final wishes. We appreciate all of your kind messages and calls.
