McDermott, (née Duffy), Monica, late of Donaghmede, passed away 1st  April 2021 (peacefully) in the care of the incredible staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of John and loving mother to William, Maureen, Judith, John and Patrick. Predeceased by her brother Michael and sister Lily, cherished grandmother of Luci, Eibhe, Jack, Joshua,  Maisie, Elli and Ben; she will be sadly missed by her husband, children and their partners Barbara, Damien, Declan and Tammy, sisters Alice and Mary, brothers Joss and Jimmy, brother-in-law William and his wife Margaret, brother-in-law Stephen, sister-in-law Patricia, nieces Maria, Martha, Christine, Mairéad, Deborah, Rachel, nephews Jimmy, Bernard, Bill, John, Philip, David, Joshua, Julian, James, Jeffery and Mark and best pal of 51 years Marie, along with Marie's children, Jacqueline, John, Amanda and Tony.

Due to government and H.S.E guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place. Those who wish to leave a message of sympathy for the McDermott family may do so in the “Condolences” section below this notice.
