Monica (Mona) Parker (formerly Hickey)
(née Kane)
Monica (Mona) Parker, formerly Hickey (nee Kane), late of Balinteer, Ballymun, La Siesta – Torrevieja and St Albans died 21st January 2022 aged 81. Beloved wife of Michael and mother of Patrick, Paula, Geraldine & Michelle and Nanny to Thomas, Linda, Luke, Alex, Rowan, Josh, Toby, Stephanie & Sean. Also sadly missed by her brother and sister, sons in law, daughter in law, relatives and her many friends.
The funeral will take place in St Albans on 23rd February 2022, at St Alban & St Stephen Church, 14 Beaconsfield Road, St Albans, AL1 3RB at 10.00am followed by cremation at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Watford, WD25 0JS.
A service, followed by the interment of the ashes will take place at Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Road, Cloghran, Co. Dublin, K67 HP26 on 7th March 2022 at 10.30am.
Donations in lieu of flowers to St Peter & Paul's, Portlaoise (https://donate.portlaoiseparish.ie/) whose broadcast of their daily mass was vital to Mona during the various lockdowns of the last few years.
