Monica Murphy (née Fortune) of Beaufield, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford and Greystones, Co. Wicklow, died peacefully on 4th December, 2023, in the wonderful care of Wicklow Hospice. Beloved wife of the late Hugo, dearly loved mother of Mairead, Olivia and Cathal, cherished Granny of Lily, Ada, Rachel, Matthew, Maud, Hugo and Leo, much loved by her sister Margaret and her late brothers Patrick and Tony, lovingly remembered by her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at her home (Eircode Y21 Y4X8) on Friday (8th December) from 5.00pm-8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (9th December) at 11.00am in St. Carthage’s Church, Courtnacuddy, Co. Wexford, Y21 RX99 followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice.
