The death has occurred of
Mons Dan Samuelsson
Mons Dan Samuelsson. Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Gothenburg, Sweden. Mons passed away peacefully at St. Bridget’s Hospice, The Curragh on March 14th, 2026, with his family beside him.
He is loved by his daughter Freya Samuelsson, her mother Mary O Sullivan and the extended O Sullivan and Riordan families.
Beloved son of Siv Samuelsson and the late Dan Samuelsson, brother of Malin, brother-in-law of Marcus Naas and uncle of Telma and Gabriel Naas. He will be sadly missed by the extended Samuelsson and Nilsson families.
He will also be sadly missed by his friend’s old and new and former colleagues.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Friday evening (March 20th) between 5 pm and 7 pm.
A service to celebrate Mons’ life will be held in Newlands Cross Crematorium on Saturday morning (March 21st) at 10 o’clock.
