The death has occurred of
Monsignor Austin Mc Keon
McKeon, Monsignor Austin, Pastor Emeritus, Tulsk, Co Roscommon and formerly President of Summerhill College, Sligo. Peacefully, in the loving care of the exceptional staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin.
Son of the late Patrick and Teresa McKeon, predeceased by his siblings, Joe, Maura, Kevin, Teresa and Brian. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Martha, Breedge and Eileen, his brothers Eugene and Eamonn, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his many loving nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and a wide circle of friends
Rest In Peace
Reposing at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin, on Tuesday from 3pm until 5pm, followed by removal to the Church of St Eithne and Fidelma, Tulsk, Co Roscommon, arriving at 8pm approximately. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey, Co Sligo. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross, Dublin. D6WRY72.
An all night vigil will be held in Tulsk church from 10pm Tuesday night until 11 am Wednesday morning. All interested in participating are very welcome.
