The death has occurred of
Monsignor Fachtna Joseph Harte
Harte, Monsignor Fachtna Joseph - Orlando Florida and formerly of Moneen, Kincon, Ballina, Co Mayo. Peacefully at his home in Orlando - May 30th, 2020, in his 90th year. Monsignor Fachtna’s remains will repose at the home of his nephew Aidan Harte, Bellasallagh, Kincon, Ballina, on Sunday evening, August 2nd. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, Monsignor Fachtna’s removal is private for family, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass will take place Monday, August 3rd at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Kincon, Ballina, followed by burial in Rathfran Cemetery (F26 P9T3).
Deeply regretted by all who knew him, especially by his sisters Ann Jackson, Douglas, Cork and Monica Fitzgerald, Dartry, Dublin, brothers in law, Jim Fitzgerald and Liam Holland, Rathfarnham, Dublin, sister in law Mary, Moneen. Very sadly missed by nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grand nephews and nieces, and his wide circle of friends in Ireland and America. Monsignor is predeceased by his parents Timothy and Elizabeth (née O'Neill), his brothers Aidan and Enda, his sisters Ita, Sr. Columbiére (Maeve) and Carmel. The funeral will be broadcast via www.churchtv.ie, select “Kilfian”, and on Kilfian church radio. Those who wish may sign the condolence book below.
