Monsignor Sean Flynn

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Monsignor Sean Flynn, The Catholic Diocese of Trenton – Lawrenceville, New Jersey and formerly of Drumslavog, Scotstown, Monday 24th November,surrounded by his loving family in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Sarah.

 

Sean will be forever loved and missed by his sister Maureen (Arthur Sheridan), brothers Martin, Michael (Mena), Jimmy (Margaret) Stephen (Margaret), his nieces, nephews, neighbours, and all who knew and loved him.

 

His Bishop, Brother Priests, Deacons, and Parishioners in the Catholic Diocese of Trenton, New Jersey will forever miss and pray for him

Monsignor Sean will repose at his brother’s Martins home in Drumslavog, Scotstown (H18NA48), on Wednesday (26th) and Thursday (27th) from 4pm until 10pm.

Monsignor Sean’s funeral procession will arrive at St Marys Church, Urbleshanny on Friday morning for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial is adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please donations if so desired to “Crocus” care of Clerkin Funeral Directors or any family member. Funeral mass will be live streamed through "Tydavnet Parish RC Churches" facebook page.
