The death has occurred of
Monsignor Thomas Palmer
Peacefully in Padua Place, San Antonio Texas USA in his 92nd year.
Monsignor Palmer a native of Ireland served in active ministry in the priesthood in the Archdiocese of San Antonio for more than five decades. After his ordination to the priesthood at St. Kieran's College in Kilkenny on June 8th 1958, he went to serve the Catholic Church in South Texas in September of that year.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, sister in law Kitty, the Archbishop and confreres and loyal parishioners of the Archdiocese of San Antonio Texas, USA, and a large circle of friends at home and abroad.
Arriving at the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill, Co. Kilkenny on Tuesday, 25th July 2023, for prayer service at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 26th July 2023, at 1pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
