It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Morgan Murphy, who passed away on May 25th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long-fought illness at his residence.

 

Predeceased by his parents, Mary and John Murphy; his brother, Jerry; uncle, Seán Brazil; and brother-in-law, Jon Kenny.

 

Beloved husband of Ger (née Carroll, Ballinahinch). Adored father of Denise, John, Ryan and Matthew. Sadly missed by his loving family - son-in-law, John Joe; daughter-in-law, Cierra; sisters and brothers, Kate, Mercy, Nellie, Margy, Mattie, Berni, Mona and Tommy; his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at St. Patrick's Church, Glenbrohane V35 DK 70 on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm followed by evening prayers.

Teas & coffees will be served in the local community hall, Glenbrohane, during reposing hours.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, at 12:00 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Glenbrohane, followed by burial in the old cemetery in Kilfinane.
