The death has occurred of
Mortimer (Mort) O'Connor
Ex Limerick County Council and President of NCW GAA, Mort died peacefully at home on 27th March 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Winnie, sons John and Dan, daughters Carol, Fiona, Elaine and Úna, daughters-in-law Annette and Eileen, sons-in-law Mike and Joe, grandchildren Shane, Rachael, Declan, Claire, Danielle, Georgia, Micheál, Darragh, Ellie and Rob, and great-grandchildren Shane, Rían and Ollie, brothers Pat and Billy and sisters Mary and Helen, nieces and nephews, other relatives and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.
Special thanks to the many wonderful carers and special mention to devoted pets Rosie and Poppy.

Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday 28th March from 6 pm to 8pm. Arriving at the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards at Calvary Cemetery, Newcastle West.
