Moss Mulvihill (retired Postman), Dooncaha, Tarbert, Co. Kerry. Moss passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful and compassionate care of Kilcara House Nursing Home, Duagh. Moss is predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (nee O’Connell), his brothers Patrick, Bob, Jack, Denis, Jim and Joe, his sisters Joan (Mackessy), Mary and Kit (White).
Moss will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his daughters Joan and Ann, sons-in-law Denis and Jason, grandchildren Marguerite and her husband Martin, Megan and Mossie, great-grandchildren Layton, Bella-Rae and Kai, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends, particularly those in the greyhound fraternity and the many households he used to visit, delivering the mail on a daily basis.
Rest in Peace
Moss will repose at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Tarbert on this Sunday evening (December 7th) from 6pm until 8pm. Moss’ Funeral Cortege will depart his home in Dooncaha on Monday morning (December 8th on The Feast of the Immaculate Conception) at 11:20am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Tarbert for Requiem Mass at 12noon (please note mass will be celebrated at 12noon rather than the usual time of 11am to facilitate Feast Day masses). Interment to follow at Murhur Cemetery, Moyvane.
