Mossie Buttimer

Buttimer (Dunmanway): On May 21st, 2022 peacefully in the tender care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Cork University Hospital and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Mossie, beloved husband of Joan (née Murphy) and loving father of Sheila (Collins), Tadhg, Anna (Collins) and Vera (Barrett) Moneyreague, Dunmanway.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife and family, sisters Kathleen, Nora and the late Bridie, daughter-in-law Ber, sons-in-law Aidan, Steve and Declan, his sixteen adored grandchildren Gráinne, Niamh, Shannon, Ciara, Patrick, Muirís, Liam, Adrian, Gearóid, Shane, Kelly-Ann, Fachtna, Jack, Elise, Róisín and Evan, sisters-in-law, niece, nephew, relatives, kind neighbours and his many dear friends.

Reposing at his residence (Eircode P47 DR76) on Sunday 22nd of May from 4pm to 6pm.  Mossie’s funeral cortège will leave his residence on Monday 23rd of May at 1.30pm proceeding to St James’ Church, Togher for Requiem Mass at 2pm, Funeral immediately afterwards to St Finbarr’s Cemetery, Dunmanway.
