Nan Casey (née Conneely), Más, Carna, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Galway Hospice, on the 4th of August 2023. Predeceased by her husband Johnny Casey (Johnny Joe Mhaitias), parents Penny (née Cloherty) and Johnny Conneely, sisters Mary Margaret, Noreen, Penny Conneely, brothers Seán, Beartley Conneely, nephew Macdara Casey, brothers-in-law Matty, Beartley, Marcus Casey.

Nan will be dearly missed by her adoring children Nuala, John, Beartley, Anna Maria, Mary, Michael, Joe, grandchildren Éabha, Sean, Molly, Michael, Martha, Saidbh, Johnny, Peter, Jack, Séamus, Max, Bailey, Keira, Charlie, Penny & Maitias; sons-in-law Ken Maher, Fionn Comerford and Brian Ainsworth; daughters-in-law Mae Casey, Geraldine Casey, Charlene Palmer and Eleanor Cooke.

Deeply cherished by her sister Buddy Conneely, brother in law PJ Mc Guinness; sisters-in-law Baba Feeney, Mary Gohram & Bridie Casey; her nieces and nephews as well as all the wider Casey and Conneely families, and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Nan will be reposing at her residence (H91HPC9) on Friday 4th. House Private. Saturday, 5th August, 5-7pm, at Mylotte’s Funeral Home, Carna, H91 D2NK. Sunday, 6th August, at her residence from 4pm to 8pm followed by páidrín. Mass at 12pm Monday, 7th August, at Saint Mary's Church, Carna, H91 DC53. Burial afterwards in Mynish Cemetery.
