The death has occurred of Nancy (Ann Marie) Mortell (Née McLynn) - Woodlands, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Darogue, Ballymahon, Co Longford and London, England - January 9th, 2026 (peacefully but unexpectedly) in her 84th year surrounded by her loving and devoted family and in the excellent care of the staff at ICU Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Nancy will be forever missed by her heartbroken daughter and best friend June, devoted son Don and her adored granddaughter Aisling who were the centre of her world.
Sadly missed by her son-in-law Robin, grandson-in-law Michael, her loving sisters Peggy Coplen, Liz Hanley and Kathleen Feeney, her brother Johnny, best friend Ellen, cherished goddaughter Imelda and her faithful companion Coco. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved and devoted big brother Paddy, baby brother Bobby, her parents John and Maria and brother-in-law Matty.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE

Reposing at Newbrook Nursing Home Chapel (N91 D232) on Monday morning 12th January from 9.30 am followed by Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Shrule Cemetery, Ballymahon.(N39 R2V5)
