NANCY HERNON
(née Connolly)

Corrib Park, Newcastle, Galway

Nancy Hernon (Née Connolly). Corrib Park, Newcastle, Galway and formerly of Knockaunbaun, Maam, Co. Galway. Died unexpectedly but peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the Emergency Department, University Hospital Galway on Tuesday the 25th of October 2022, with her loving family by her side.

 

Deeply missed by her loving daughter Nancy and adored grandsons Aaron, Mark and Gary, her sisters Mary, Peggy, Dympna and her brothers Sean, Michael and Marty. Predeceased by her brother Padraic and sister Bernie.

 

The Funeral will take place in line with current Covid 19 guidelines.

 

Nancy will be Reposing in Saint Pio's Room adjoining The Church of The Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Rd, Galway  from 5.30pm on Friday the 28th of October. Removal at 7pm to the adjacent church. Requiem Mass for Nancy will take place on Saturday at 11am and may be viewed online the Link for Mass: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/catholic-church-of-the-sacred-heart

 

Funeral afterwards to Rahoon cemetery.

Funeral cortège will pass Nancys home in Corrib Park after requiem mass at approximately 12.15pm before Nancy makes her final journey to Rahoon Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only by request.
