Nancy HICKEY
(née Murphy)
Nancy Hickey (née Murphy) of Rutland, Palatine, Co Carlow and Drumderry, Bunclody, Co Wexford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on October 1st, 2025, under the wonderful and loving care of the nurses and staff at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved wife of the late Luke, much loved mother of Thomas and adored grandmother of Ciara, Luke and Elaine.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Eunice, sister-in-law Maura, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May Nancy’s Kind Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday (October 3rd) from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St. Marys Church, Bennekerry, arriving for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
