Nancy Hughes - in her 98th year - died peacefully in the loving care of Oakfield Nursing Home Staff surrounded by her family.

Nancy was the last surviving child of the late Ben and Catherine Breen and beloved wife of the late Jim and loving mother of the late Anne and Margaret and sister of the late Nell, Dora, Kit, Margaret, Bess, John, Patrick and Jim. Nancy will be sorely missed by her daughters Catherine and Bridi, her son Jarlath, daughter-in-law Majella, son-in-law David, her grandchildren Alan, Darragh, Aoife, Conor and his wife Caoimhe, Caroline and her partner Paul, in addition to her great-grandchildren Adam and Annie, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Eircode Y25 K122) on Monday 8th January from 5 p.m. with Removal at 7 p.m. to St. Michael's Church, Gorey. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 9th January at 2 p.m. followed by Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery Gorey.
