Nancy Woods
(née Weldon)

The death has occurred of Nancy Woods (née Weldon), Cornaroy, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and under the exceptional care of the North West Hospice.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Shane, grand-daughter Naoise, sisters Peggy, Eileen and Agnes; brothers Tom, Pat and Seamus.

Forever loved and missed by her children Kenneth, Yvonne, Darina, Shane, Gail and Aengus; daughters-in-law Noreen, Michele and Belinda; sons-in-law Aidan and David and by her adored grandchildren Óisin, Sinéad, Shane, Roisin, Hannah, Odhran, Tiarnan, Rían, Maria, Kealan, Siofra, Sadhbh, Stella and Sonny. Deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sister Kathleen (London), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and members of the Weldon and Woods families; former colleagues of Drumshanbo N.S. and Joe Mooney Summer School Committee, great neighbours and many friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her home on Wednesday afternoon (June 19th) from 3pm to 8pm Removal to St Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo, on Thursday morning (June 20th) for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in New Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on https://www.churchtv.ie/drumshanbo/ and on Drumshanbo Parish Facebook Page.
