Nano (Anna Maria) McCartan
(née McDonnell)

Nano passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of Stella Maris Nursing Home, Cummer, Co Galway on Thursday 15th August, 2024.

Predeceased by her beloved son Peter, her parents Peter and Mary McDonnell and Eugene McCartan.

Nano will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by her children, Mary, Helena, Pat and Eugene, her son-in-law Gerard Mullins, Helena's partner Jimmy Dillon, her daughters-in-law, Maureen, Breda and Bernice, her adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and extended family.

Reposing at Sioraiocht, on the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway (H91 XH02) on Saturday 17th August, from 4.30 to 6pm, with removal to the Church of the Assumption afterwards. Requiem Mass at 12.30pm on Sunday 18th August, followed by burial in Roundfort Cemetery, Hollymount, Co. Mayo (via Kilmaine, Ballinrobe and Hollymount)
