Naomi Murphy

Naomi Murphy of Killiney, Co. Dublin and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow and Belfast, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on Saturday 26th October 2024, in her 85th year, at Blackrock Hospice. Beloved wife to Norris and mother to Ruth, Richard, Janice and Tim, adored Nanny to Sarah G, Mairead, James, Cormac, Domhnall, Sophie, Mark, Tilly, Pippa, Sarah, Emily and Caitlin, and great-grandmother to Katie and Will. She will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law, Jim, Gavin and Michael, and daughters-in-law Annabelle and Kirsten and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Oct.31) from 7.00pm to 8.30pm. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will take place on Friday (Nov.1) at 10.30am at Crinken Church, Dublin Road, Shankill, followed by tea/coffee and then burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. In keeping with Naomi’s wishes, we ask those attending to wear colourful clothing. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to the Blackrock Hospice.
