On April 13th, 2026, Ned passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved and devoted husband of Maria (née O’Brien), and much-loved father of Jeremy, Brian and Aidan. Cherished grandfather of Diarmuid, Conor, Chloe and Emma.

Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Mary, his infant twin daughters Margaret and Maria, and Brian’s partner Michelle Everard.

Ned will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife and best friend Maria, his sons, daughter-in-law Louise, grandchildren, Diarmuid’s partner Jonah, his sisters Margaret and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Ned was a proud goalkeeper with Russell Rovers GAA and had a lifelong love of hurling.

Reposing in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Thursday 16th April from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.

Reception in to St. Colman’s Church, Cloyne on Friday 17th April for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
